Complete your English Level Placement Test
Our English Level placement tests for ESL students will not only help he or she understand their English language strengths and weaknesses but also completing one of our placement tests will help find the correct class that is right for each individual student.
Each ESL level test is designed to be quick, simple and concise and specifically aimed at helping the student of English find, participate and complete the best course suitable to match their requirements and goals.
While our online level tests are a written assessment and largely based upon grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and a general understanding of the English language for ESL students these online assessments/placement tests are based upon the European Common Standard for languages and we do use for the purpose of evaluation, the popular CEFR standard (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) for which there are six referenced levels.
These globally accepted ESL levels are set as the standard for the grading of an individual’s language proficiency. The six standard levels are A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 with three ‘plus’ levels defined as (A2+, B1+, B2+) To select your particular English level placement test or assessment please select any of the descriptions from the below levels as required:
Test A1 – C1 covers the complete six referenced levels.
Test B1 – B2 is based upon the Preliminary to Intermediate levels.
Test A1 – A2 focuses on the Beginner to Elementary levels.
Once your test has been submitted you will get your score and results immediately, therefore, allowing you choose the proper class to suit your level. You will also receive a confirmation email.
While every effort has been made to produce these ESL placement level tests as accurately as possible they are only a part of the overall process in attaining a proper overall view of any students level. It is recommended that a follow-up test be also completed such as Listing and Speaking, these too can be done online by contacting us through our Contact Us page whereby we can arrange a face to face meeting using our online virtual platform, Skype or Zoom.
